6.6/10
I recently stayed at the Marriott Downtown At CF Toronto Eaton Centre for two nights and found the service to be a mix of really good and lacking. While the front desk staff, particularly Nicholas, went above and beyond to accommodate us when our room wasn't ready, I did encounter some inconsistencies during my stay. The hotel's prime location next to Eaton Centre is a major plus, making it easy to explore the area. However, I did experience a few service hiccups that slightly marred the experience.
Rooms
7.0
The rooms are clean and of sufficient size, but they felt a bit dated compared to other properties. The beds were comfortable, but I noticed that certain amenities were neglected during my stay.
Service
8.0
While I received excellent service from some staff members, there were noticeable gaps in attention to detail, such as missing items in my room. This inconsistency in service is something I hope they can improve on.
Location
10.0
The hotel is in a fantastic location, just a stone's throw away from Eaton Centre and surrounded by plenty of dining options. It was incredibly convenient for exploring downtown Toronto.
Dining
7.0
The breakfast selection was decent, with a variety of offerings, but I found that some dining expectations didn’t quite match the hotel's four-star rating. Room service options could be better.
Facilities
8.0
The facilities include a nice gym and pool, though the pool is on the smaller side. I appreciated the complimentary drinks available in the lounge, perfect for relaxing after a long day.

7.2/10
My stay at the Marriott Downtown at CF Toronto Eaton Centre was a mix of highs and lows. The location is fantastic, making it easy to explore downtown shops and restaurants. However, the service left much to be desired, particularly regarding billing issues and customer care. I found the amenities and room offerings to be average, lacking the upscale touch I expected from a Marriott hotel.
Rooms
5.0
The room was spacious and had the essentials, but there was an unpleasant smell upon entering. Plus, I experienced issues with noise that prompted me to switch rooms. Overall, it felt like it fell short of what I hoped for, especially compared to other Marriott locations I've visited.
Service
5.0
Customer service was disappointing. I encountered issues with unexpected charges and a lack of support from staff when I needed assistance. The experience certainly impacted my overall impression of the stay.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location is excellent for those who want to be close to downtown attractions. I enjoyed the easy access to the Eaton Centre and local restaurants, as well as the quiet courtyard that offered a nice escape from the busy streets outside.
Dining
5.0
The dining options were standard for a hotel buffet - decent but nothing to write home about. I felt it could improve with a wider selection considering the price.
Facilities
6.0
While facilities like housekeeping and valet parking were adequately managed, I found it frustrating to have to pay for Wi-Fi despite being a member. It seemed below what I expected for the price I paid.

My stay at the Marriott Downtown At CF Toronto Eaton Centre was overall enjoyable. The service from the staff was excellent, especially when I arrived early and they helped facilitate breakfast for me. However, the room had a few drawbacks, including the air conditioning being warm and some strange bedding that made for an uncomfortable sleep. But the location can't be beat, as it's just steps away from the Eaton Centre and other attractions.
Rooms
7.0
The room was spacious and clean, featuring comfortable beds and a good-sized TV. However, I did notice the air conditioning was quite warm, which made my stay slightly uncomfortable. Additionally, I found the bedding to be oddly set with a duvet over the mattress, leading to an unusual sleeping experience.
Service
9.0
The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. When my room wasn't ready upon arrival, Nicholas at the front desk offered me a drink at the bar, which was a pleasant surprise.
Location
10.0
The location was fantastic, with easy access to the Eaton Centre and other downtown attractions. I appreciated being within walking distance to many restaurants and the subway station, making it easy to explore Toronto.
Dining
6.0
I didn't dine extensively at the hotel, but I did have drinks at the bar. The bar offered standard fare and was a relaxed environment, though I was hoping for a more diverse dining option within the hotel.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel offered various facilities like room service and dry cleaning. I did find the pool's changing facilities to be oddly placed within the gym, but overall, the amenities met my expectations.

6.6/10
I recently stayed at the Marriott Downtown At Cf Toronto Eaton Centre and found the location to be fantastic, right by the Eaton Centre. However, the overall quality of the room didn't quite live up to my expectations. While the staff was friendly and accommodating, the room amenities were lacking and some aspects were worn down. I appreciated the good dining options, but the temperature control in my room left much to be desired.
Rooms
6.0
The room had a decent layout but the heating system wasn't effective, making it uncomfortably warm at times. The furnishings looked banged up, and the mini fridge had a knack for freezing my drinks. I was hoping for a more modern touch, especially given the Marriott reputation.
Service
8.0
The hotel staff were warm and welcoming, always responsive and eager to help. My positive interactions with them made my stay a bit brighter amid some of the room issues I faced.
Location
9.0
The location is unbeatable, with easy access to downtown attractions like the CN Tower and St. Lawrence Market. It really made exploring the area a breeze, which was a highlight of my trip.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast options were solid, with a nice variety and a helpful staff at the omelet station. That said, I did experience a mix-up with my order which contributed to a not-so-great morning vibe.
Facilities
6.0
While the amenities were adequate, I felt that they could offer more in-room perks like bathrobes or toiletries. Overall, it felt like the facilities could use an upgrade to match the location's premium feel.

Location

The hotel is in an amazing spot right across from Nathan Phillips Square and a minute away from the Eaton Centre. I loved that I could walk to so many attractions easily.
Dining

The food at Trios was quite good, and I especially enjoyed the wedge salad. However, I felt the breakfast menu could use a bit more variety to keep it fresh during longer stays.
Facilities

The pool and hot tub area were nice, and I loved relaxing on the adjacent outdoor patio. However, the gym looked impressive, but I didn’t personally use it.
